I adore my barred rock rooster! This is Snoop, King of the Coop at 20 weeks old. He is very productive over his mixed flock and a mating machine, haha.
Great idea! My coop was finished about two weeks ago, all of the landscaping is new and hasn't grown in yet. I took transplants from my garden and moved some flowers in too. Its hard to tell from the pics because everything is still small but I planted:

Welcome! Oh my, thats terrible. I am glad to hear they have a new mom! I am new to chickens, too. Mine won't eat any whole vegetable either just yet. They do love sprouts though.
