She ( he) hangs our with her buddy roo, but yesterday I watched her approach another roo and start jumping up on him( he is twice her size). Of course I couldn't get it on video. That got me thinking "roo" behavior ??? Maybe she is attached to her roo and doesn't like this one. Please look at...
Well, I guess I am going to split my Silkie pen into two separate ones. I have two pullets who are frizzled and a frizzled Satin in the same pen, and I do not want any accidents. Thank you for your comments.
I am stumped by my Silkie pullet ( hopefully). She ( he) shows no sign of rooster behavior, and is now 3 1/2 months old. I know it might be a little too soon to know for sure, but I thought some of you would enjoy playing the gender game.
This is Coconut, from birth until 6 weeks old I was positive she was female. However, she has just turned 10 weeks old and I am not sure. Mom is a silkie and dad is a frizzle. What do you think? The first picture of Coconut is at 7 weeks of age, the other pics of this sweetie are at 10 weeks old.
