They weren’t bantams but my chickens aren’t even a yr old so their eggs were extremely small. And they hatched on (smaller 18/19) and the Larger 20/ and still waiting on #4 but it is externally pipped
Honestly can’t even see it inside of the egg looked perfect, it’s rollin around in there lol
Tripping over the eggs lol
The back two I think will take til the weekend
This is my first hatch in a incubator and this little one came on day 17. Does it look healthy to y'all?
Ps: if you didn’t notice the chick started a trend the other eggs it’s chilling on is now pipped.....
Lady’s I would like to say I was right about the development they hatched 4 days early and the other 2 are chillin no pips
Please meet “independence” named by my daughter
Really happy I saw this post I have 2 lavender orpingtons, and a pock(polish/Cochin) and a full blooded Cochin. 2 smaller eggs are internally pipped, 2 larger eggs look like they are a normal day 17. I’m thinking on my side size played a role bc my polish are very big and my Cochin weighs 15lbs...
Yea didn’t consider something would look a lot bigger in a smaller egg.
It has a small fan but I still manually have to control humidity which in southwest Louisiana is hard when the humidity in your house is 67 lol
back story: I was supposed to use all of my fertile eggs from my Cochin, polish, and Cochin and barred rock, however my boyfriend got hungry ♀️ Long story short 3 of my eggs went in the bator
1 Pure cochin 1 polish/Cochin 1 pure polish
I purchased 11 lavender orpington splash fertile eggs...
