Duckling struggling to move neck suddenly.
Since yesterday I noticed my duckling was suddenly stretching backwards and today I realised it was it's neck and he can't feather or anything because it's seems to restrict that movement and I also noticed a red mark next to it's leg and I'm not sure why.- Ssp

You're telling me chicken starter isn't ok for ducklings? And other then the normal loss of appetite, weakness, droopy wings ect, they both closed one eye when it seemed to reach a serious point but before that there didn't seem to be anything wrong. These ducklings died very quickly so I have no clue and no they were picked up. -

I can't figure out how they got it either since they didn't go outside when they were with me so we assumed they already had it and when I told my teacher he was confident it was coccidiosis and I'm pretty sure you can see coccidia under a microscope but it's just to see can't really be sure ATM. -

2 have passed the same way I tried everything I could however the last one is doing very good and going to check his poo through a microscope to see if he still has the disease before we get more ducklings. -

I live in NSW Australia and it is cold atm but they are always in warm areas one of the main signs before they pass is one of their eyes closing and I talked to my teacher about it who owns a poultry he was sure this is coccidiosis I believe he said. -
