    I got them from the Ga. Mad Hatcher as red stars. But mine seem a lot darker and don't have the white that I have seen on pictures of red stars. Are production reds good layers?

    Can anyone tell me if my girls(I hope) are all red star? I know it's prob. to early to tell if they are hens or roo's, but at what age can you start to tell?
