Sadly the little tripod didn't make it through the night :( It was surprising actually because of how well it was doing yesterday. But on a happy note, his 3 siblings (2fbcm & 1 olive egger) are doing incredibly well and the last of the 5 eggs under my momma hen just externally pipped.
I'm usually super careful a about checking for double yokers when I set eggs, but i think this one was an absorbed twin. Found 2 more toes at the base of the 3rd leg! Poor little oddity!

Set 14 beautiful f7-f9 Olive Egger eggs yesterday, and 7 additional mixed "color layer" from our own birds, ran the numbers, and realized I'm most likely gonna have valentine's babies :love Excited to be part of this hatch-a-long!! Good lunck all!

I would also LOVE some of the olive egger chicks, but can not risk getting more roos. Are they young enogh to still sex by the wing?
