Hi sorry for late reply! So she went into labor May 18th and was able to push out 2 piglets and one afterbirth. I still saw kicking so knew there was more. After a couple hours I began to worry so i went in and felt a piglet stuck. The home vet came that evening. Her hips were too small to pull...
My heavily pregnant gilt is having some stringy white discharge. I thought she was in labor last night she was doing some (only a little) nesting with her straw, moving it around with her feet...laying down and panting. But still nothing so just a false alarm. She got her milk in about a week...
About how long until she goes into labor after getting milk in her nipples. She has had her milk line for about a week and a half but its gotten much bigger the last three days and this morning she had milk coming out of some of her nipples when squeezed
I am almost positive she is pregnant because in the last 2 months she gained a crazy amount of belly! It practically drags on the ground. How pregnant does she look to you? I am trying to get an idea of when she is due. (No vet nearby is able to see her unless its an emergency so I am unable to...
sorry for late reply. She is good. Still no piglets but her nipples are a lot bigger, no milk. Belly is still around the same size. Not sure what to think at this point.

When I say accident I meant it as in they accidentally had contact with each other. I separate them when she is in heat. There was a loose crate latch and he got out. She does wear the diapers I guess he pulled it off somehow
Hear murmurs are all different. It was determined by 3 different vets at 3 months of age that going under anesthesia can be deadly for her. Just because your chihuahua can handle surgery doesn't mean mine can.
If you would have asked "Why did you choose not to spay your dog?" instead of judging and jumping to conclusions, I would have told you that she has a level III heart murmur. Anestesia can KILL her. So yeah, she should be spayed but unfortunately she can't be. So please, keep your judgements to...
Haha yeah I knew rectal I meant like how far in. Ok, I will have to get another thermometer I only have one for myself right now. Ill get another in the next couple days and keep an eye on it. Thank you!
Yeah that was my first thought. I have tried that several times, but after she eats because she is so small her stomach is bloated and harder , which makes it hard to really feel around in there because I don't want her to be uncomfortable. I mean, how would you like it someone was pushing on...
