    No signs yet! I candle last week and only one egg wasn't fertile.... Hopefully, I will get a good hatch but I haven't ever used an incubator.

    I set 20 eggs sliver laced wyandottoes, buckeyes, Spanish and some hybrids. Hope my incubator holds temp alright! Maybe I will get a good hatch rate since they are all 3 days old at the most.

    Mama hen pecking egg? Update and HELP!

    I just had the same thing happen so I won't let her set a clutch again. I was able to save 4 of chickens but wasn't quick enough to save the other 3. It appears she is just a bad mother because the chicks in the brooder are doing great.

    I got it at the farm store but I think TSC has it also. I got the liquid Corid solution...I work great and I treated for 10 days and followed with vitamins and electrolytes and plain yogurt but you can't give them the vitamins during the treatment...

    He died yesterday....such a pretty roo....I hated to lose it but I'm treating them all for coccidiosis. I guess he just wasn't strong enough......Any tip about treating this nasty protozoan would be greatly appreciate...I lost 2 so far and the others seem better.

    Thanks for the post...The pictures are most helpful as .I am dealing with this right now. Lost a Spanish hen and my gold laced roo.....I felt terrible about it. One day they were fine and the next sick and the next dead.... I am still worried about my chicks but they are some better today...

    I have a Chocolate Turkey that's 3 weeks old...It isn't growing like the others from the same hatch and is now lame (limping) in one leg. Does anyone have any thoughts about what it might be? I'm new to chickens and turkeys so I don't have a clue. Thanks
