We have a new coop built, I will put pictures below. I am starting to notice that they are not getting worse, but growing feathers back. Thank you all for advice, I apriciate it!!
Here are the pics! Sorry, they make it look way smaller than what it really is.
Thank you so much! Tonight we are going to try to build something bigger so they have more room and can spread out more! I may need to try the chicken peepers, and I just got peck-no-more and blue kote!! Thank you all so much!!
I will make sure to look at that website!! I do not have a roo, it is 6 hens. I will check for mites, but I am positive it is pecking becuase I cought them doing a few times tonight. Any coop ideas/healing ideas would help!! I have one that is very raw and looks painfull. Thank you all for you...
I just went outside tonight to see that 3 others have it now. I do not know how I can icolate all of them. We are in the process of building something bigger/new. Anyone have any ideas, or ways I can build something that can help? I do not want it to get too bad! Thank you all!!
Thank you so much for the information! Souds just like my situation!! (but with much less birds)!! Can you give me a little more information about the chicken peepers? If that will help, I might want to try it!
Here are some pics of run, coop/roosting, and the chicken. It is 3 1/2 feet wide, 15 feet long, and 10 feet of it is 3 1/2 tall and the other 5 feet is 5 feet tall.
I will try to get better pics when it becomes daylight and also try to get exact square footage. I will also put a better picture of the roosting layout. Thank ou all for the information! I will put better pics in few!!

Okay, thank you for the advice! Since it is ver cold out, do you think it would still be fine if it was alone? I will try to get a better pic like I said! Thanks again!

I will try to get more pics tomorrow as it is evening right now. I just noticed it when I went outside tonight to feed them because we are going to be gone tomorrow. There is 6 hens is a 80 sguare foot coop. All of them are about 40 weeks. I have not seen them getting pecked, but I am asuming...
I have a Rode Island Red hen that is one of 6 in a coop and run. They have plenty of room. I have started to notice that this chicken was loosing feathers on its back end. I was looking at it a few minutes ago and saw that it was raw and starting to bleed. It still seems to be acting fine, but I...
I have had chickens that have had problems like that. I would recomend giving her a bath in warm soapy water. Do not put her whole body in water, but hold her so only back end goes in water. When you are done giving her a bath place her in a old box and blow dry her off. Do this once a day to...
