    sorry about providing link.i do need to read the rules.i do quartine all new birds for at least 2 weeks.and de bath every 3 or4 days .i love my birds.and would never put any thing on them that would shorten their life.de works in 24 hrs for any external parasites.not weeks..

    it does sound like lice .this is what i would do, ive raised bird 30 years.lice are a big problem.lice allso love people.im itching just thinking about it.i use Diatomaceous earth (food grade)dust birds (all birds)the coop.and all so put it in the feed to get rid of internal parasites.this...

    i would only worm them with food grade diatomaceous earth by perma-guard.keep 1 to 2% in the feed and internal parasites will never be a problem.after 2 short weeks you will see a big improvment.for 50 years "DE"has made poultry healthy.you can also put it in the chicken bath box and good by...

    most chickens dont eat toxic plants.my rule is ,dont feed em scraps that i would not eat myself. no bannana skins,tator skins,peanut shells,pork,a chicken would eat you if you let em!!
