I lost my two battery hen chickens years ago leaving my Dutch cuckoo bantam hen alone so I decided to buy two more to keep her company. I brought two Belgium D'anvers and they have sorted there pecking order out and they have been living happily for about a year now...

The question is about how the accommodation can effect the health of the hybrid chicken? some examples are;

This chicken has now got feeling in its feet! Still can't mover legs but when putting my finger under her toes I could feel her trying to grab on and she has been wiggling her toes which I am so pleased about!!

Thank you for the help and the support everyone. I just hate seeing animals sick or ill etc. will try her with marmite I think they will all like that. This chick is the smallest chick out of the 3 she came with. Hopefully she will get better.

We have no foxgloves etc
however we have some old food which my nan gave me which we have started using because we have ran out of fresh? would this have anything to with it?
the garden does not have lanatera. what would you recommend with her? my parents want to put her down at the vets? would that be the best solution. or does she have a fighting chance?
