    You know, one quick trip to the vet can cure the spraying problem. It isn't even overnight anymore. Catch him in the morning, sneak him to the vet, bring him back, let him go. Claim ignorance. Just a thought.....

    My dh insisted a rooster was needed for eggs. He wouldn't back down, so I proved it to him. We had pullets for a year, that laid eggs just fine. Then I got a rooster. The funny thing is, he grew up in WI, and was around farms all of his childhood. His family even owned chickens.

    There is a fix for over salting your food. Cut up a potato, and add it to the dish. It will cut the saltiness, and make the meal edible. Live and learn. :)
