They are about 5 weeks old. 3 out of the 5 have curled toes. I got them from an auction, but they're eating starter. What am I doing wrong? No other chicks have had this. Is it genetic?
I have 5 and they don't all look like that. Some look like a rounded bump. But I have no clue if that means anything at all or not. On the bright side, I've heard that even the roosters are quieter and very timid.
Oooo!!!! I think you got it! I've had ppl say Easter egger, old English game and (seriously the guy at the auction) silkie! Lol that's the only reason I bid on her and her babies bc I thought I was getting a silkie.... Imagine my surprise when I opened the box
I have one brahma that sounds different than the others, guessing he's a rooster. His name is roo Paul. I have a Henny Penny too. Our brown one is butterscotch and a white silkie is Olaf. The rest aren't named yet. We have 20 total. But they're babies so we need to see personalities and colors...
Oh I didn't know that! (About picture comments, thanks!)
So what's a "game hen?" Just a name for an UFC? (Unidentified flying chicken?) and there are 2 color chicks, thinking it would be cool if they are sex linked but I don't know if they are or not
