Y'all are making me hungry. :P
Stuck at home. The husband has to go commissary shopping for me. Nothing in the house I really want to eat. I had surgery Friday and am not allowed to drive or do anything. Blah!
Thanks. It is hard for me to not spoil her. Lol I have to remind myself to keep my distance.
Gyda is doing very well and knows sit. Still working on recall, about 75% there. No tracking this weekend due to rain and severe winds.
I want to get out and take photos but I just had surgery Friday...
We have had German Shepherds for years. We still have two, Mace and Blackjack. The husband wanted a higher drive dog to train and decided on the Malinois. We have trained with them before in Germany and also my husband has trained with them in Texas.
He is certified with the SV as a trainer but...
Hahaha chicken math never adds up. I have nearly 50 chicks in the brooders. I have no clue where to put them in just 2-3 weeks! About 10 more would fit in the coop but not in the run attached. I have another coop that can house 8 but no run attached. We have a barred owl in the woods, a hawk...
Bandaids or the medical tape work fine. I do it for 5 days. Good luck with your chicks.
I'm hoping our weather straightens itself out. I want the chicks out of the brooder!
I am gone two days and y'all jump 4 pages! Lol
Genetics are always fun, but so right that it would be really hard to guess what they would look like considering they are mutts and old genetics can be hidden. I bought some chicks from tsc. They are feathering out nicely a few more weeks and out...
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be keeping an eye out. :)
I'm all for variety in my flock. I am not so concerned with high production. I would be in trouble if all my hens laid eggs every day!
That has got to be the fluffiness chick I have ever seen! :D Love it!
I have EE in my flock. I get blue and olive eggs from them. I have 4 chicks right now and can't wait to see them grown up.
I think this summer I may hatch out some eggs. My EE rooster is one of my pride and joys. I hatched...
I know it isn't polish. But the spitz... I didn't think came in solid black. Went to google search pictures. They sure do! Better get some better photos of his profile... Hmmm
Thanks so much. :)
Not all bucks are nasty smelly boys. Mine actually are very pleasant even in rut! I have so many compliments on how they don't smell! I have a wether, bucks and does plus their kids.
I would discourage anyone to feed their herd a sweet feed. A good quality hay or forage, and loose minerals...
