...or just really exhausted? She wanted to be in that basket so I let her.. I just don’t know what to do and I will be beside myself if something happens to her..
*she has no feather loss, she is just wet from soaking in the warm bath**
Please someone help, any advice will be greatly appreciated
sorry if I posted in the wrong place but I have a little question...
I built a new coop for the girls but they seem to sleep outside and not inside with the roosting area.
I was told to guide them inside and close the coop door to keep them safe from predators.
How many nights do you think...
My little bantam feisty is doing this broody behavior too. If I walk near her she lets out an awful scream and she puffs up her feathers. I took away her nesting box but she decided to go into a little round plastic planter box. Does she have to be separated from her sister in this cage? Does...
Okay so I’ve been doing a lot of research and I just feel like a complete putz! :barnie
Plan A:
Removing the nesting box - FAIL
Feisty decided she’s not leaving her nesting box, so I took that away... she now decided that she’s going to use this plastic planting box instead..
Plan B:
The wire...
Sorry didn’t see the last question , yes I am feeding them layer feed. All my regular sized girls are laying just fine like my one bantam.
Just one out of the 7 are not laying
When I them I was told they were three months old feisty started laying at 8 months
I spend a lot of time with all of my girls and outside and have cameras on them (to watch for predators) Feisty is the only one who goes into the nesting box and lays
I’m a little concerned, today it dawned on me that my bantam Lil Peep has never laid. Her sister Feisty lays one everyday. They are about a year old.
Is there anything I should pay more attention to or something ?
Idk, maybe I’m just freaking out over nothing but I just want to make sure...
