    I would not advise electrifying the hexagonal wire, but there are insulators you can buy & attach them to the outside of the coop so that when the coons comes around they get a "shocking" revelation. most any farm supply store would carry them...this is one that comes to mind...

    Nice. very very nice. I have an old chicken coop that my dad built many years ago(before the town I live in became a city)...I have been wanting to either rebuild or replace that coop....after seeing & reading this, I think I'll replace it. TY for sharing.

    Q. instead of building this in the garage/barn, then taking it apart & moving it, why did you not just build it on the site you have it now?? Seems to me like that would have been a lot less work... speaking of which, this chicken coop looks very nice. lots a work, but it looks very nice.
