    I love a bearded/muffed chicken!! But specifically I love the d'uccles. (Followed closely by ameraucanas and faverolles)

    I'm guessing roo with those red combs! I have a splash ameraucana too and her comb was non-existent at that age (and still pretty hard to see at 10 months). Photos are her at 8 weeks for comparison!

    I think cockerel too! I have two 5 week d'uccle pullets and their combs are barely visible.

    Painted two of my girls for my first painting of 2023! Jolene is the splash ameraucana and Tuna is the Salmon faverolles

    Faverolles Thread!

    Just spent the morning looking at everyone's faverolles 😅 and had to share mine! Tuna is 5 months and such a goof. Pretty snuggly as long as you don't bug her too much and definitely lowest in the pecking order. She lives for kale and black sunflower seeds.
