    Bully chicken- seriously evil

I don't know where you are in Oregon but if you are still having problems and you are anyware near me. I have a small chicken run you could borrow or you could bring her to my place and I could keep her in it for a week or two for you.

    Hen or Rooster?

At there age it is a good bet to say "if they have large combs and waddles they are a rooster".

I am feeling very lucky! I make sure the chicken have plenty of fresh water but it hasn't been over 80 where I live and that was only one day. I think I am taking it worse than the hens. The 70% humidity is killing me, but I guess it is still better then then we lived in MI.

    First Egg Countdown

OK update!!!!! We have 7 hens that are laying. Today when I got home we had seven eggs and one was a whopper at 87 grams. Then for some reason the automatic chicken door closed early with all the hens outside. We opened the door and I asked my son to shoe the hens inside. He did and came inside...

I would invest in an automatic chicken door. You should have enough time to fine tune it to open and close when it should and it would keep your chicken safe from predators at night.

    First Egg Countdown

I have a dilemma! I want to put the fake eggs back into the nest boxes as our BO are getting close to laying. The issue is my two BF keep trying to go broody and it really helped when I took the fake eggs out. What should I do? I don't want broody hens. I think 23 chicken is enough in our 50x150...
