Pardon me for jumping on the band wagon. I got these cute Lil guys from a kindergarten hatch at the local school...but they turned out to be roos and I can't keep them. :( but I am unsure of their breed and was wondering what your thoughts are?

Any thoughts on breed to chick #3 and #4? They have turned out to definitely be roos...

Thanks, I know they are young. Just hoping for fun to see what ppl thought. Plus the Roos have to go back to farmer as I can't/don't want anymore. I think the black is an Araucana. No tail. And I know there were blue and green eggs in the incubator
Chick #1
There was a hatching for the kindergarten class that is at the school I work at.
I volunteered to take home 4 chicks... no idea what breed they are and trying to figure out pullet or roo...they are 4 weeks old
OK. So my hens are missing feathers on their heads from my Roos. I am going to separate them so the girls can heal. I believe this happened because the Roos were young and inexperienced, and we had such a long cold winter - that they spent alot of time inside.
What can I do to treat the hens...
The verdict is in...at a little over 8 weeks, I have finally caught Titan and TILLY crowing...guess they are twin brothers after all, although (TILLY) now Zeus, is larger in size but definitely behind in comb and wattle development. Here's to the frizzle brothers may they live in peace!!!:D
I have an alram clock that crows and when I come downstairs (They are still in a pen in my mud room) I peek in and there he is strutting around making this God awful strangled noise!! I wish I could record it...I am going to keep trying. But I know he can hear that alarm and I think he is trying...
When I got them I was told they were 3 weeks, so that would make them closer to 6 weeks. The one with the more developed comb has started to crow, which is hysterical by the way.
With my 10 no Roo...so this is my first.
Yes I gotcha ;)
Just a little disappointed was hoping for 3 pullets.
She did say if I ended up w Roos to give her a call...
But now I am attached :love
On the other hand I am afraid the Roos will fight,
I only have 10 hens and I don't really don't want to go more than that
