    I'm interested... I will show up (and/or pre-pay) if anyone has some spare Orpington hens (already have 3 roosters). Mostly interested in blues, blacks, and splashes... Will this be too much for a 3 year old to attend? It could be fun to have him help pick out some more chickens....

    Blues or Lavs?

    For what it's worth (which probably isn't much, lol), my blacks and blues were pretty much the same color. The blacks were, as one would assume, black... and the blues were a dark-ish gray. The older they got the more black or blue they became. Out of the 8 I had none of them were light...
