Hello everyone, I'm new to the chicken world, and I don't want to lose any of my birds I'm trying to put together a first aid kit for chickens, what are the essential items?? I know I can't be prepared for everything, but I'm sure going to try. Any suggestions are much appreciated :)
Grit helps them to digest things such as seeds and insects. If you're only giving them starter pellets or crumble (fermented or not), you won't have to provide grit. Free range chickens will find there own grit and you don't have to provide any. Hope this helps :)
