Thanks so much everyone.. I’ve have been feeding nutrena for the last few months, it was what I could get at the store. I love Purina duck pellets but it’s so rarely in stock I switched to nutrena. Getting it on line is not cii ohs effective as the shipping is outrageous. The geese hatched in...

    Feeding geese in winter

I’ll have to see if I can find a hay rack for them. I work in a grocery store and have access to the not good enough to sell produce. It’s not rotted just not pretty enough to sell. It’s put out side for farmers and what not to take for their animals. I just picked some butternut squash I’m...

    Feeding geese in winter

The cracked corn was never meant to be a soul source of feed. I know that it is a ‘hot’ food that will help them stay a bit warmer in the winter. It was just something I threw in a handle full at a time to get them used to eating it… I do currently feed nutrena duck pellets my problem is they 2...

    Conjoined twin duckling

As far as I can tell the parasitic twin is from the shoulders down… these birds are being raised for meat so no need for an avian vet. Not that there are many in my area.. the plan is to let nature take its course… if it survives till October great!! If not sad… either way we will give Frank and...
