OK...update.
My Houdan improved considerably after being wormed (was eating and moving around more within about 24 hours). But, I noticed today that she was back to looking depressed. I picked her up and although she's been eating fairly well, she doesn't seem to be putting on much weight...
I have a Mottled Houdan hen that is about 1.5 years old. She's always been healthy and always laid well.
About 2 weeks ago, I noticed she was suddenly being picked on by my flock (5 hens total). She has always been low-man on the totem pole so I assumed she had commited some chicken crime...
Yes, she died a few hours later. Poor little thing. Buried her in the garden under the hydrangeas where she liked to scratch.
I treated the others.
This is so weird--my grandma raised chickens for as long as I can remember and she never wormed them. She had chickens that lived for 6-8 years...

I went to the feed store as soon as it opened this morning to get Valbazen and also got some buttermilk as suggested.
Mashed up some scrambled egg, a little bread, and the buttermilk to give her. Also gave her 1/2 cc of Valbazen.
I'm not sure....
I had to spoon feed her the food and...
By the time I read these posts, the local feed store (where I can get the wormer) were closed. I'm going in the morning to get the wormer and I'll get the buttermilk too.
