    We would like to mix our flock of golden comets(2yrs.old) with the newer flock of Rhode Island reds (one yr.old) there are about 40 hens total. We have plenty of space in the coop. We need to make room for a new flock of chicks. Thanks.

    We lost one of two of our pekin ducks last night, to a raccoon. will we need to get another one for the surviving duck? They are about 10 weeks old or so.
