Yeah, its not frostbite..Thank you! I am just confused why her hurt leg is so cold. 😥 IDK if it's just me but there is always something with my flock 😂 If it isn't one chicken its another 🤷♀️
Some time last night the wind blew our coop over and one of my girls are limping pretty bad. Felt around for any breaks and I don't feel any BUT one leg is freezing cold & one is warm.... She does move it and curls toes and even steps lightly on it. What can I do for a sprain OR worst case, a...

Oh! Got it. Very good tip/reminder cus i realized yesterday how the bedding just flew out of the coop when I put some in the test how slippery the floor will be, which I learned it will be EXTREMELY slippery. Any suggestions on what the put as a floor to prevent sliding and slipping?
Thank you so much. I've been working hard on it. Haha. I made a door for a droppings board if I was to want to put one in. Its gonna be a trial and error type of deal once the hens go in the big coop. Ill make adjustments once I see how things go. Lol
Its 100% temporary. This is a UNFINISHED coop lol they aren't living in it yet. I just wanted to show everyone where I am at in the process and get any tips anyone has so I can fix stuff before moving them into the new coop. 😃
...to do to it like put on the TIN ROOF, put up roots going side to side, probably 3 or 4 of them.. I'm also adding a board going above the nests for extra chill spots & a ramp of course (45* at least, right)
Do you think this will do them good in the winter? Like where the vents are and everything?
