Anyone know breed/gender of these 11wk chicks

I'm really not sure about the changing colour thing, it was just a guess about vitamin deficiency being the reason - I really don't know much about that kind of thing. We think she has a B2 deficiency because of her foot...

Anyone know breed/gender of these 11wk chicks

Thanks for all your help! I don't mind that much about specific breeds, I was just curious! I'm disappointed about that chick being a cockerel. I thought it might be, but that one is my favourite! Unfortunately I can't keep roosters in my urban area, but I will find a good home for him. The...

Anyone know breed/gender of these 11wk chicks

I have 3 chicks that are around 11wks old, and I was wondering if you guys could help me out with breed/gender of them. Chick number 1 This chick's name is Tilly, and we are thinking that she is a girl. She was sold to us as a Coronation Sussex egg (we bought fertilised eggs), but that is...

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

I was also wondering if I should splint the leg so she doesn't keep walking on it the wrong way? Most of the time she keeps it off the ground, but she does put pressure on it occasionally

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

Thanks again for your help! I tried putting her in a chicken sling this afternoon, but she absolutely hated it and kept escaping - should I just leave it for now or should I keep trying?

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

Thank you so much! I will try to make a chicken sling tonight. Should I keep her separated from the flock at the moment to stop her from moving around, or is she ok staying with them. She can still move around, she just hops a lot.

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

Please... I really need some help. I have given her some scrambled eggs and spinach (starting to treat it as a B2 deficiency as I felt both her legs and I felt no difference) I am unsure of what to do from here. Thanks.

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

Update: I have moved her into a separate box (still inside the coop) to keep her from walking around so much. Could she have a vitamin B2 deficiency??

PLEASE HELP!! 10 WK CHICK W/ BROKEN FOOT

I noticed yesterday that one of my chicks was limping. She puts no weight on one leg, and is limping A LOT. It has gotten a lot worse since this morning. Her foot seems floppy, and sometime she stands on it the wrong way. I will send some pictures soon. I have no experience treating this sort of...

Around 5 week old chicks - anyone know what gender?

Thank you guys so much. Are you sure about the breeds? The people we bought them from seemed to have a pretty good setup, and I don't think they mixed breeds. I could be wrong though. What age should I post more photos?

Around 5 week old chicks - anyone know what gender?

This might be a bit early to tell, but I have four 5 week chicks that I would like to know the gender of. Unfortunately we cannot keep any roosters as we live in an urban area, but I have arranged for a safe home to send any roosters after they start crowing. Sorry about the bad pics! They move...

    Please help! First time hatching!

I candled the egg yesterday afternoon and could not really see anything. We decided to give the egg one last shot, and put it under the mum last night while she was nesting with her babies. When we woke up, she had moved off the egg and it was cold. No movement that we could feel or hear. I...

    Please help! First time hatching!

Hi everyone, 22 days ago I purchased six eggs for my broody Wyandotte. About a 4 days ago, she pushed one egg out from underneath her. I slipped it back under, but when she pushed it out again I realised it was likely she knew it was dead, and I candled it and found that she was right. That...
