We received our one and only Favacauna from MyPetChicken and will definitely never be without one. We completely adore her! She is almost as docile and friendly as any Silkie. "Hope" is supposed to be the Wheaten color but she is mostly white with white legs, small, clean faced and usually...
Hi all! Been stalking this thread for exactly 21 days now. :D I have a little Silkie that decided she was not going to take no for an answer this time. This is the 4th time she has been broody in less than a year! AND she's not even a year old yet! At the time we did not have a rooster so...
So got home today and made my way down to the coop to check for eggs as usual....I was not prepared for this color egg!

6 more days...6 more days...6 more days... I can make it. I think I can. I think I can! After that I may have THE most bizzaro flock ever known to man. Anyone else (im)patiently awaiting new arrivals? The better 1/2 is sick of hearing about it... So I've come here to chat with my other...
Okay...love winter (downtime), love snow (pretty & white) but now officially over it! @Smarsh I've had the same prob with those %^&$ cow birds. I saw my sweet little momma hen finally get fed up and really kick some tail feathers the other day. Go Nugget! And I'm antsy as heck waiting on...
