Sponsored Post Nestera Coop Giveaway! Total worth $1595

As much as I love building coops the ease of being able to buy a coop saves me a lot of time and energy. I would trust a company that is willing to back their product with a 25yr warranty. My first coop was a pre built coop from a farm store and it didn’t even last a season without leaking...

After having a lengthy conversation in the Washington poultry group on Facebook I’m pretty positive she is a she and she is an Ancona. A few...

I think you are right! When I got her I was told she was a speckled Sussex and that was obviously wrong the next guess was a Java. Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Your guess is probably better than mine. I’ve only been a chicken lady since the middle of summer. I thought I had figured it out then I started looking for another chicken to add to my little flock and found 2 other types of chickens that look like her. I guess it doesn’t matter... she is the...

    Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I live in Federal Way. We didn’t get a crazy amount of snow but it was really dry, so when the wind kicked up it blew it right into the bottom of their coop and they didn’t like that one bit...too cold on their feet to walk on the cement. Spoiled girls got royal treatment today.
