    I’ve got 9 total I have tried vent sexing and have come up with 7 male 2 female which doesn’t seem right. The 2 I suspected as female are about half the size as the rest.

    Hi Debbie, Thanks for getting in touch. They’re not sexually active yet only 5 and a bit weeks so foam test won’t work. Their feathers on their breast look identical to the rest of their body so I’m having a real hard time figuring it out.

    Help determining sex of quail

    Hi everyone, Just wanted to get some help determine the sex of my 2 quail that are around 8 weeks old. I initially suspected they were both male but have tried doing the foam test multiple times and nothing comes out. Please see attached photos. Thanks
