i think i read that the mystic onyx is a cross between the Cemani and black silkie. i know someone that has a onyx and breeds his partridge Plymouth rocks with it, pretty flock of chickens.
no the moonbeam chickens are mixed with different stock hybrids. They don't have spots, splash or blots, they have a faded, thick smokey blend in with the feathers and are far more pretty IMO.
The only MB's I have seen don't have Black cones and wattles its a very dark maroon color that kinda...
