hope so. Yeah I thought it odd to be molting now. Have had the light turned off for almost 3 months now. But their age is right for molting now. This has neen a strange flock from the get go anyway. I think I will reduce them and bring in a new breed or grow more Lav. orps. Have been considering...
I was wondering if my American lo would loose value if I bred them with an English lo or if they would retain value? My ALOs are pretty big with hens around 8# and I heard that the english are a little bigger.
Guess i'm one of the lucky few. I grow and sell organic/natural crops. I can. I have a green house, of which, I just picked lettuce to have salad for dinner. And I have been blessed with great water. My well is 605" deep. When tested they tell me I can sell it as is because its so pure.

I have to put my two cents in.... The one thing we have that will make a difference during an economic meltdown is the Barter System. Those of us who can produce food will get along just fine using this system to swap for the things we need. However, I suggest to stock up on ammo now because it...
I teach Poultry Judging for 4-Hers. Many of the questions I get from parents concerning their birds include what is normal for poop?, and how can you tell what is wrong with a hen by the shell?

Yes there were a few ideas to takle bordom. The main one is hang veggies so the have to jump a bit to get it and the other is to split large fruit like a pumpkin or watermelon for them to peck on. Guess you could hang shiny items like...
