thanks from what i read it is definitely a humidity issue. my temperature was perfect and the only time we opened the bator was to add water, we kept it at about 50-60%. what is best to keep it at?
i have done about 4 hatches and 3 out of the for have been pretty bad. the last 2 has been the worst. i can see that the chick is developed and where it is supposed to be in day 18 but they just dont hatch. was wondering if someone can help me out.
the best way is to get her on her leash and have someone else hold the chicken and just let the dog smell the chicken for a while. and slowly work to letting both of them go together!

its really based on you. if your trying to make a profit by selling them then you have to take into account each egg aand how much food you had to feed your hen until she laid it, then you have to figure out what that cost. usually i figure about 1 to 1.50 an egg would be good if your trying to...
