    Thanks Yes, you'd want to breed Buff to Buff. Pen them with other breeds and you'll only get mixed color chicks.

    I'm gaining some good information. I plan to breed silkies later. Currently i have 4 Bearded Buff's. not sure of the sex yet. Do i only need to place the Buff's together, correct? Im also planning to have a coop for Calico Cochins. Thanks

    Only place I can find by Google is a small page calling themselves sunrise silkies. Looks like a 4h project in 2007-2008. No actual website or fb page.

    The only well known Silkie people that I'm aware of around 2 hours and they breed show quality(not heard of them selling hatching eggs or Paint). The lady I hope to get most my paint from is in MO.
