    Thanks for that, it's really helpful. Though I'm a bit confused as you suggested I keep the chick at 27 and on here it suggests so much less for day one. I turned it down and it recovered, put it back to 37 at your advice and it's panting again now

    ive just hatched my first ever chicken egg. It came out by itself at 3pm today, now, 5 hours on it seems to be panting and shaking at the same time at the edge of the incubator. Is it too hot or too cold? The temp is 35.8 and the humidity 60. The temp randomly went up to 38 a couple of hours...
