He's not allowed on the rugs and I make sure to pick it up with sanitizing wipes as soon as he drops it. It's not ideal and he should really be outside but I'm weak and my pets know it.
Hello! I live in Princeton and have a question for the ones of you in Collin County like myself. Is there a backyard farm animal vet I can take my rooster to that you can recommend? I really don't care for the super expensive avian vet clinic in Southlake. We really need another option! Thank you :)

Hello, I live near Dallas and rescued a sweetheart rooster (my first rooster ever). I named him Martino and we're really good friends. I was told that he was born with a tumor in his left eye but come to find out, he has a bad case of Coryza. He has taken three doxycycline injections and is now...
Hello! I am hours away from Austin but if you'd like to drive up closer to Dallas I can meet you somewhere. I apologize for not reading your post sooner.
Hello, I rescued a rooster and would like to give him some company. If anyone is looking to rehome two hens, I'd like to adopt them. I live in Collin County on Lavon Lake.
I like your fancy guy!
Thank you for the feedback. I guess I will have to give this flock expansion a try and see what happens. If my rooster changes personality, I’ll give the hens back to my friend.
He’s blind in one eye and is overall a spazz. Other roosters were picking on him where he lived before.
I got him from the guy that sells me eggs at the farmers market. We’ve become acquainted so he’d be giving me two adult hens if I asked him. I don’t have any other chickens, only a cat.
