They are Australorps and feathered and flying and ready for their new coop but the cool nights concern me since the guys at Agway told me to keep them in until they are six weeks old. That's April 30th.
I'm new but had a thought about your situation
I was taught by a doctor years ago to use Johnson's baby shampoo (no tears formula) on a q-tip on the eyelid. I wonder if anyone else would consider trying it on a chicken?
New to the list and to backyard chickens
Our chicks arrived march 22 and the weather in southern central PA isn't warm enough to introduce them to the coop and the outdoor pen so they are thriving in our sun room on the northwest side of the house. I'm wondering when I can move them to the coop...
