two new roosters...can't find this breed!
A friend gave us two bantam roosters...said they are a deamber (i'm not sure how to spell it) but I can't find any infor on the breed. Does anyone know about it or know of another name for them? One is silver the other is a blue/black. I can't post pics yyet or I would.- crooked_door_farms

two new hens coughhing and sneezing and rattle when they breath
We got two cornish cross hens and a black giant last week....all seemed well uuntil a few days ago...the 2 cornish cross both sneeze and mmake rattly sounds when they breath and sometimes they pant when it's hot...they're still laying and eating drinking ok and have no discharge. Ameraucana and d'Uccle gender ID?
The fiirst one looks like my easter egger hen who lays gorgeouus blue and green eggs....the d'uccle is hard to tell..I have a mille fleur myself and am still stumped on whether I have a hen or roo- crooked_door_farms

Just curious? Who names all their chickens and who doesn't?
We have 18 chickens and all (well almost all) have names..Foghorn the leghorn rooster(naturally!) Hennny Penny a whit roock hen, Chicken Little...leghorn hen, Red a RIR (we think a roo), Dumplin a silkie hen, Geraldine a domineker hen, Hazelshe's a mutt lol, Bessie a blue rock hen, BokBok a blue...- crooked_door_farms
