I just hatched 30+ baby chicks...and one has it's leg splayed out behind it. What is the bandaid method of trying to correct it? It is one of my husband baby SLWyandottes, so we really want to save it...any help would be appreciated!
Whoo-hooo! Woke up this morning to a RIR that hatched and so far four more RIR's and a mix hatched. So far, no Barred Rocks or SLWyandottes have even pipped their shell yet...trying to be patient!! :-)

I am in IOW county outside Carrsville...
We have an assortment of chickens, two goats, three dogs, two cats and a bunny...we are also incubating and have some baby cochins that are two weeks old and RIR, Barred Rock and Wyandottes in the incubator now!
