    Depending on the insulation in the garage. Your container should be big enough so that they can all move to the heat lamp to get warm and all move away from the heat lamp to cool off - I think I would turn it on at night.

    How long before they are supposed to stand up? mine is 4 hours old and hasn't stood up yet, looks like she's trying tho. Hope yours turned out fine.

    For the Hot days I freeze a angel food cake pan with water and layers of treats: greens, watermelon, strawberry tops,etc. I turn it out on an upside down garbage can lid. It melts and they'll stand in the cool water. They also peck at the treats and get extra water by eating the ice. I run home...

    I promised Tumbleweed some pics of the coop. I had to expand when I adopted the 6 that were abandoned. They are almost a year old :). Trying so hard not to get more - that darn chicken math.
