I kiss my chickens and my Barred Rock Rooster "Domino" is the ONLY Rooster I've ever had that will let me smooch his face. Every other breed Rooster I have had has been in utter terror if I try to love on them. Love my Barred Rocks!!

Honest, one of my Leghorns laid an egg 19 hours after the last one. That was one time only but she did do it. I was recording ( and still am ) all of my hens laying each date and time.

No it's a Barthuhner. HEE HEE. I've never seen one just found it surfing the net. It's kinda cool looking. I need to put a pic of a breed I really want but can't find at a decent price. I'll find a pic of the hen they are so cute.
Sorry if someone said this already, but heat might be why they are not going back in there at dusk. Most chickens like cold weather and hate the heat of summer.
