Thank you for all your ideas! I love the idea of a light dimmer. I'll ask my husband to get one of those..hmm...that's another good idea to keep the eggs warm, heat sinkers. I'm looking forward to trying this again..thank you!
Thank you..I didn't know what to do..and I didn't hear from anyone..I threw them away because the temperature went down to 66 degrees because of the power outage...so I didn't think they were any good anymore...thank you for responding...

Hi, everyone.
My husband made us a homemade incubator using a cardboard box, a 40 watt bulb, and he sealed up all the holes etc..well, we had it going for 99 degrees, but every time I open it to turn the eggs,(and I do it as quickly as possible, like 40 seconds) it goes down 2 degrees and it's...
HI, all.
We want to try to hatch some of our chicken eggs. My question is this..our hens are 8 months old now...are they old enough to have viable eggs?
thank you,
Brenda
Would McMurray send one of those as the exotic?
thanks for telling us..we thought it would have the puffy cheeks? and it does kind of act like a roo. when two other little ones get into it she/he runs over and gets between them...it's comical to watch...
thanks
Since I'm a new egg, I think this is how I show my picture?

any ideas?
we think it might be the free exotic...
Thanks,

Thank you for your input. I'll ask what's in it and what % of protein is in it. We've been buying their eggs for years now and they are just wonderful!
Hi, all,
Our Amish neighbor grows and sells feed. We were wondering if anyone knows anything about this? Would it be ok to feed that to our chickens as opposed to the store bought stuff with all the ingredients? they feed their chickens their own homegrown feed..I'll have to find out what they...
My husband wants to do that. He's thinking of a way to catch the rain water with a rain barrel and then rigging up something so we can use that to water them, maybe a spout that comes out the side of it. Have you ever tried that? He wanted to have it run directly into the coop (with a turn off...
