    Good evening! Yesterday I got my first two Silkies! I’m super excited about them, they’re super cute. Anyways, we were told that they were pullets. I just want to come on here to double check, just in case. :) They’re currently 4 months old. Thank you!

    I’m just seeing this! Did anymore end up hatching? I’d generally say give it more time.

    All but 2 ended up hatching! Some were on day 18, but I think the majority hatched on day 19-20! I don’t remember seeing a lot of movement or chirping on the days leading up to the hatching. Just leave them in the incubator and find something to take your mind off of them hatching. You got this!

    Thank you for the reply! The bruising is kind of right between the air sack and the rest of the egg, right where he’s been pecking.
