    Allotment chickens

    Change of plan. Instead of having chickens at my home I have cleared a space on my new allotment. I plan from taking advice on here to put some wood shavings in the house part of the coop pictured. I am new to all of this was going to get 2 hens. Just needed to check it looks ok and safe. Thanks

    Thank you. I'll give it a try. Would it be a sprinkling or layer of wood chips? I was told chickens need a mud base not concrete for better eggs

    Can i put wood shavings down over the concrete for comfort? Not 100% sure on size. Was thinking 1 to start then increase to 2. Sounds silly whete do you get chickens lol. Sorry to sound thick.

As the back of my garden is paved can i cover it in a layer of compost and put coop/run on top and put straw...
