I believe you’re only supposed to give corn as a treat. For instance, I just gave my chicks the water in a water feeder that I boiled six ears of corn in for dinner last night and they are loving it, but that’s just something extra as if you were giving a dog a treat
I received my order from Amazon. This was a little more pricey than fabric netting, but it fits perfectly over the octagon. We now have a no fly zone lol
That was my original plan. I couldn’t find a mosquito net big enough. Just ones for smaller baby gear. If anyone sees one that fits 6, 32 inch panels in an octagon shape please share the link so I can return the other one and save some 💴
Thank you, everybody! I think they will be much happier in the space that I just created!! This was my future plan but from their behavior over the last few days and reading your posts they definitely need more space NOW!!! I’ll post another picture once they’re inside 😀
I have my chicks in a 42 x 28 large dog cage and lined the wall walls with cardboard and use pine bedding. Is this enough space for 12 chicks that are 3 to 4 weeks old? And at what point do I need to give them a larger habitat and how much space per chick at what ages?
