Hard, warty thing on my Orpingting's beak???

Oh, thank you. We recently had a disaster with a bobcat killing my lavender orpingtons sister, and there were some minor injuries, so this is probably one of those. All is well now after building an enclosed hen run like fort knox. Sad, but our fault, and this is wildlife. Appreciate your...

My beautiful "first hatched" light Brahma roo is taking up well needed space in the coop and should start crowing soon, so I can't keep him. He's good breeding stock or just pretty to look at!

    Two beautiful Blue somethings?

I had no idea there would be so many breeds that match in many ways, but not others. I had never heard of Andalusians, and if not for my kids feathered legs, it would have been close. 'Course mine could end up to be some kind of mix, since my feed store didn't order these and were not informed...

    Two beautiful Blue somethings?

Thank you everyone! The langshan suggestion feels right to me! I had never seen that breed, but researching the description matches very well. Their posture and long legs are different from any chicken I've had.

    Two beautiful Blue somethings?

I couldn't resist these two blue beauties at our local feed store today. I have MY idea what they might be, and the feed store personnel have their idea, but first I'd like to hear from all of you. What breed are these?

I never noticed a huge problem with odor, but I'd like to know the solution to FLIES! I've done research for years, know all the usual suggestions including fly predators, but this year they were horrendous. DE doesn't seem to do anything for flies (maybe it's just me). As far as predators, I...
