    At night I lock mine in a concrete building. I can be in my house with TV on and still hear them honking out in the building. I love my geese!!

    She is waiting till she has a clutch say 6-12 could be more or less. She will then go broody and try to hatch them. If you pick them up each day she will not go broody if you leave them she will.

    Last year I got 4 American Blue geese from Holderreads, and I love them. This year if everything works out I hope to get another pair of blues and a pair of dewlap. I think its cool you have a Holderreads goose all the way over in the UK.

    Hehehe sorry didnt get to finish my thought, im at work and we had to take a pt to Surgery. Any who I just wanted to say, my geese can get snippy with me if I dont look right or something is different but most of the time they are no problem. Hope it all works out. Jrooster

    I'm sorry to hear your havinig such problems with your geese. Look at it this way. The geese know they live at that house and they know you dont. They think your intruders. If you want to keep them you really have to work with them, i.e. bring them treats, hold them or anything else people...
