    My excitement is waning, I have a hen sat on, what started as 9 eggs, it seems she has eaten 2, one is empty and they are due today. Two have pipped, but no visible movement, the others seem to have very large air sacks. I would appreciate any thoughts anyone has. Thanks

    I have 4 eight week old chicks separate to my laying flock. They are currently on growers pellets. What age shall I move them onto layers pellets and is it ok to integrate them with the laying flock at the same time. They are nearly as big as the rest already. Thanks for any info.

    One of my white stars has gone broodie. I have 9 Appenzeller eggs under her now. Only on day 3, so a while to go yet. The 16 mixed batch are all doing well, now 3 weeks old this weekend and the brahmas are now 8 weeks old and I think they are all pullets. Not sure on the mixed htch yet...

    I have been moving them as they have become dry and well footed, it was getting a bit cramped in there. I know have 16 chicks. I have been putting hot water in the water troughs one I had lifted the lid to remove the chicks and that brought the humitiy up again. Seems to have worked ok...

    Well i have reached day 19, this fancy little app I have says day 20, coz it must count the day I set the eggs as day one, but anyway, before the weekend is out I should hopefully have some chicks. There are now 21 eggs in the incubator as I candled them again before lockdown and removed...
