A ‘genius’ idea that is pretty obvious to most!

Do the same thing on my brooder to label whats in it.

Looking for advice to give this chick a chance :)

side note: a broody is the best shot any egg has. Nature at its best. Just let the hen do the work, if you do not want to acquire another route of hatching. With a broody you need to do nothing but let her set. Give the eggs a few days beyond the date in the nest, you never know.

Looking for advice to give this chick a chance :)

Kind of you to want to help, but nature is specific. If it didn't hatch it was likely due to a vigor issue. Sadly I do not see a way for this baby to survive. If it does, it likely will have issues and a very short life.

Introducing young pullets to older hens

We never had any issues moving birds over to adult rations at 16 weeks, always just mixed the 2 feeds together for a week for them to adjust to them.

Help! I want to hatch more chicks, but don't know which to pick!

I got ya, just want something that's as hands off as possible, since we still work and can't be constantly watching it for the 3 weeks, thank you! I will look into that one. our first batch was a homemade setup, including hand turning which was stressful, but we still got 6 out of 14 to hatch...

Help! I want to hatch more chicks, but don't know which to pick!

I wanted to get an incubator to hatch at least 50 eggs at a time. I’ve used smaller incubators, but they are hard to keep up with, even with small batches. Any suggestions on ones that can allow me to hatch more eggs without having to constantly monitor temp and humidity?
