Orpington, Australop, Rhode Island Red, and silkies. So sure I will consider your advice on your supplier for next time. I do want to have more than one type of chicken. Plus silkies are hard to come by over here. Since everyone buys them right away.
I have two temperature readers and the incubator is inside my house. Temperature and humidity are on point. I candled the eggs and about half of the eggs are not fetilzed or show any development aside from the air sack and the veins. I found the wagon train in Orange. So I’m going to try them...
I live in Orange County. And Twice I purchased firtilized chicken eggs from a person on Craigslist. But I been having really bad results. Does anyone know of a place I can order eggs from that have more than a few selection to chose from. Please let me know if you know. Thanks in advance.
I’m using my kids thermometer as well. The heat is between 99.1 and 99.5. And humidity is at 64%. And they are in my living room. So the temperature doesn’t change dramatically.
I been checking the temperature and humidity and it’s on point. I did noticed some eggs have a slower development. So for sure I shouldn’t go over 25 days. What happens if they are still alive but it goes Over the 25 days?
Today is day 23 that my eggs haven’t hatched. I bought the eggs two days after they were laid. I have six eggs and all of them are alive and moving. I haven’t heard and peep. I don’t know if I should give up or continue because everyone else says that they should of hatched on day 21. Please help
My eggs haven’t hatched and it’s been 23 days today. I candled the egg and their is movement but no peep. And it’s all of the 6 eggs that I have. Is it a lost cause to continue or is this normal. I did get the eggs two days later when they were laid.
