    Should I give up on some eggs?

    I would toss them. Once you get the bator it can take a day or two to regulate the temp. Of course you could set them, candle them after a few days and then pitch any that aren't developing, but overall you'll probably have better sucess with fresher eggs.

    It is possible that the bator was running a little below temp as when we upgraded hygrometers the new hygrometer indicated we were low. Let's hope for the best.
